Police assistance. The police assistance shall include setting up of a traffic aid post (the “Traffic Aid Post”) at each of the Toll Plazas with a mobile Police squad for round-the-clock patrolling of the Project Highway.

THE HIPAA PRIVACY RULE The HIPAA Privacy Rule is part of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. The Privacy Rule establishes a national set of standards to protect the confidentiality of “protected health information” while permitting the flow of information required to provide high quality health care. Protected health information is defined as individually identifiable health information that is maintained or transmitted in any form whether paper, electronic, or oral. Individually identifiable health information is information, including demographics, that relates to the individual’s past, present, or future physical or mental health or condition; the provision of health care to the individual; or the payment for health care; and that identifies, or there is a reasonable basis to believe can be used to identify, the individual. Examples include: name, medical record number, and diagnosis. As permitted in the Privacy Rule, the entities of FRHS are designated as “Affiliated Entities” which allows these legally separate entities to act as a single entity for the purpose of compliance with the standards. The Uniontown Hospital and its privileged physicians and health care providers are identified as an “Organized Health Care Arrangement” which is a clinically integrated care setting in which individuals typically receive care from more than one provider.
Police assistance. Assistance provided by any Participating Agency to any other Participating Agency, which shall include, but not be limited to, the assignment of sworn and/or civilian personnel and the use of equipment for such assistance as back-up on traffic stops, investigations, establishment of regionalized operations or administrative programs, and major crime task forces, all as more fully defined in the Operations Manual developed pursuant to this Agreement and incorporated herein by reference.
