PLD Upload Clause Samples

The PLD Upload clause establishes the requirement and process for submitting Product Lifecycle Data (PLD) to a designated platform or system. Typically, this clause outlines the format, timing, and method for uploading relevant data, such as product specifications, updates, or compliance information, to ensure all parties have access to current and accurate records. Its core practical function is to streamline data sharing and maintain up-to-date documentation, thereby reducing errors and improving coordination between stakeholders.
PLD Upload. You must transmit to UPS the PLD for any Outbound Shipment manifested through UPS Electronic Manifest Service and UPS Host Manifest Service before pickup of those packages by a UPS driver.

Such upload functionality may only be used to transfer PLD to UPS for Tendered Shipments manifested using keyed import, batch import, XML auto import, hand-off shipping, or the direct entry functionality of the Installed Software.
