Plate Glass Sample Clauses

The Plate Glass clause defines the responsibilities and procedures related to the repair or replacement of glass fixtures, such as windows and doors, within a leased property. Typically, this clause specifies whether the landlord or tenant is responsible for damage to plate glass, outlines notification requirements in the event of breakage, and may require the tenant to maintain insurance coverage for such incidents. Its core function is to clearly allocate responsibility for glass-related damages, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring prompt repairs to maintain the safety and appearance of the premises.
