Plans, Keys, Records, Etc Clause Samples
The "Plans, Keys, Records, Etc" clause defines the obligations regarding the handling and transfer of important documents, access tools, and records related to a property or project. Typically, this clause requires one party—often a contractor or tenant—to provide the other party with all relevant plans, keys, maintenance records, warranties, and similar items either at the start, during, or upon completion of a contract or lease. By specifying these requirements, the clause ensures that the party assuming control has all necessary information and access, thereby facilitating smooth transitions and ongoing management while preventing disputes over missing or incomplete documentation.
