Plan Years On Sample Clauses

Plan Years On or After January 1, 1976. Except as specified in (C) below, for each Plan Year beginning on or after January 1, 1976, a Participant shall earn a Year of Benefit Service for each Plan Year in which the Participant completes at least 1,000 Hours of Service in Covered Employment.

  • Years of Service Bargaining unit employees leaving in good standing with at least fifteen (15) years of service but less than twenty (20) years of service will receive upon separation twenty five percent (25%) of their unused accumulated sick leave up to a maximum of two hundred forty (240) hours, computed at the bargaining unit employees current rate of pay. Upon normal retirement (as defined by FRS or contract city) of a bargaining unit employee in good standing or upon the death of a bargaining unit employee in good standing with at least fifteen (15) years of service but less than twenty (20) years of service, the bargaining unit employee will receive upon separation sixty five percent (65%) of their unused accumulated sick leave up to a maximum of six hundred twenty four (624) hours, computed at the bargaining unit employees current rate of pay.

  • Plan Year The year for the purposes of the plan shall be from September 1 of one year, to August 31, of the following year, or such other years as the parties may agree to.

  • Limitation Year A "Limitation Year" is the Plan Year or any other 12-consecutive-month period specified by the Employer in the Adoption Agreement. All qualified plans maintained by the Employer must use the same Limitation Year. If the Limitation Year is amended to a different 12-consecutive-month period, the new Limitation Year must begin on a date within the Limitation Year in which the amendment is made.

  • Elective Deferrals Contributions made to the Plan during the Plan Year by the Employer, at the election of the Participant, in lieu of cash compensation and shall include contributions that are made pursuant to a 401(k) Election. A Participant's Elective Deferral in any taxable year is the sum of all Employer and Affiliate contributions pursuant to an election to defer under any qualified cash or deferred arrangement, any simplified employee pension plan or deferred arrangement as described in Code Section 402(h)(1)(B), any eligible deferred compensation plan under Code Section 457, any plan as described under Code Section 501(c)(18), and any Employer contributions made on behalf of a Participant for the purchase of an annuity under Code Section 403(b) pursuant to a salary reduction agreement. Such contributions are nonforfeitable when made and are not distributable under the terms of the Plan to Participants or their Beneficiaries earlier than the earlier of:

  • Credited Service A year of “Credited Service” shall mean a calendar year in which the Participant is paid for at least 1,000 hours of service (as defined in the frozen Hasbro Pension Plan) as an employee of the Company or of a Subsidiary of the Company. A Participant does not need to be, or have been, a participant in the Hasbro Pension Plan.

  • Accrued Benefit An employee who has an accrued benefit under the Financial Security Plan shall retain such accrued benefit under the Plan subject to the current provisions of the Plan.

  • Retirement Benefit Should the Director still be in the Directorship ------------------ of the Association upon attainment of his 70th birthday, the Association will commence to pay him $590 per month for a continuous period of 120 months. In the event that the Director should die after becoming entitled to receive said monthly installments but before any or all of said installments have been paid, the Association will pay or will continue to pay said installments to such beneficiary or beneficiaries as the Director has directed by filing with the Association a notice in writing. In the event of the death of the last named beneficiary before all the unpaid payments have been made, the balance of any amount which remains unpaid at said death shall be commuted on the basis of 6 percent per annum compound interest and shall be paid in a single sum to the executor or administrator of the estate of the last named beneficiary to die. In the absence of any such beneficiary designation, any amount remaining unpaid at the Director's death shall be commuted on the basis of 6 percent per annum compound interest and shall be paid in a single sum to the executor or administrator of the Director's estate.

  • Salary Benefits and Bonus Compensation 3.1 BASE SALARY. Effective July 1, 2000, as payment for the services to be rendered by the Employee as provided in Section 1 and subject to the terms and conditions of Section 2, the Employer agrees to pay to the Employee a "Base Salary" at the rate of $180,000 per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments. The Base Salary for each calendar year (or proration thereof) beginning January 1, 2001 shall be determined by the Board of Directors of Avocent Corporation upon a recommendation of the Compensation Committee of Avocent Corporation (the "Compensation Committee"), which shall authorize an increase in the Employee's Base Salary in an amount which, at a minimum, shall be equal to the cumulative cost-of-living increment on the Base Salary as reported in the "Consumer Price Index, Huntsville, Alabama, All Items," published by the U.S. Department of Labor (using July 1, 2000, as the base date for computation prorated for any partial year). The Employee's Base Salary shall be reviewed annually by the Board of Directors and the Compensation Committee of Avocent Corporation.

  • Deferral Elections As provided in Sections 5(f), 6(h) and 14(d), the Executive may elect to defer the Pre-Change in Control Severance Payment, the Post-Change in Control Severance Payment and the Consulting Payment as follows. The Executive’s deferral election shall satisfy the requirements of Treasury Regulation Section 1.409A-2(b) and the terms and conditions of the Deferred Compensation Plan. Such deferral election shall designate the whole percentage (up to a maximum of 100%) of the Pre-Change in Control Severance Payment, the Post-Change in Control Severance Payment and the Consulting Payment to be deferred, shall be irrevocable when made, and shall not take effect until at least twelve (12) months after the date on which the election is made. Such deferral election shall provide that the amount deferred shall be deferred for a period of not less than five (5) years from the date the payment of the amount deferred would otherwise have been made, in accordance with Treasury Regulation Section 1.409A-2(b)(1)(ii).
