Pits. 3.4.1 Shallow depth sampling or exploration necessitating open pit excavation shall be conducted in a safe and workmanlike manner. Requirements of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇‑▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) shall apply. 3.4.2 The number, size, depth and location of the pit(s) shall not be changed without the Owner's approval. The Consultant shall notify the Owner if provisions of paragraphs 3.2.2 and/or 3.2.3 apply to pit excavation(s).
