Common use of Physicians Clause in Contracts

Physicians. a. Any person in the class of Physician I, Code 0651, when regularly assigned to work in City Jails, shall be paid a predetermined salary for each biweekly pay period, and shall not receive paid overtime compensation but may accrue compensatory time off (CTO) in the manner described below. These employees shall not be subject to any deductions from salary or any leave banks for any absence from work for less than a full workday except for the current practice regarding deductions from salary and leave banks for absences from work resulting from personal illness, family illness and paid holidays.
