Personal Insurance. The College accepts no liability for the theft, loss, or damage by fire, water or appliance failure or otherwise of money, valuables, computers, or any personal property of the student either in the student's residential space or in College storage areas. Students are urged to purchase their own insurance to cover such losses. The Residence Life office works with a company who offers insurance specifically for college students. Information can be found at the Residence Life office or by contacting xxxx://xxxxxxxxx.xxx/school- search Since family homeowner's insurance policies sometimes provide coverage for the personal property of a family member away at school, students are also encouraged to check with their family's insurance agent regarding policy coverage.

Personal Insurance. I understand I am responsible for purchasing international medical and travel insurance. It is my responsibility to purchase adequate insurance coverage specific for the locations and/or international travel. Medical Treatment and Expenses: I authorize UIW to arrange for medical care and treatment for me if I become ill or incapacitated, without incurring any liability. I authorize UIW to take actions it deems necessary, including securing medical treatment and transporting me to the United States, all at my own expense. I release UIW from any liability for the quality, timeliness and outcome of any such medical care received or for any expenses incurred. Transportation: I understand and acknowledge UIW does not and cannot guarantee the safety and/or security of any transportation that may be utilized as a result of my participation in this International Program.

Personal Insurance. Employer shall provide during the term of this Agreement, at Employer's sole cost, a policy or policies of term life insurance coverage in the amount of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000) and group life, health (including medical, dental and hospitalization), accident and disability insurance coverage for Employee and his dependents either through a policy or policies of standard coverage provided by an insurer or insurers selected by Employer in its sole discretion. In the event of a termination of Employee's employment pursuant to paragraph 16(b) or 16(e), or automatic termination based upon paragraph 16(a)(1), (4), (7), or (12)(to the extent of Employer's breach), Employer shall continue to provide for a period of thirty-six (36) months, at Employer's sole cost, the above-described policy or policies of term life insurance coverage and group life, health, accident and disability insurance coverage for Employee and his dependents, to the extent such insurance coverage is available at a cost to Employer comparable to the cost to provide such coverage to an active employee. If such insurance coverage is not available at a comparable cost to Employer, then Employer shall pay to Employee a lump-sum amount in cash equal to three times the total annual premiums paid by Employer to provide such insurance coverage to Employee in the final year of Employee's employment by Employer."
Personal Insurance. Residents are required to obtain personal insurance against such losses. Housing & Residence Life does not purchase such protection for personal property. It is recommended that Residents obtain coverage through a “rider” on their family’s tenant or homeowner insurance policy, which should include liability coverage for injury or damage caused by the Resident.
