Common use of Personal Illness or Disability Clause in Contracts

Personal Illness or Disability. An employee may use all or any portion of their annual leave for scheduled workdays on which he/she is physically incapable of performing his/her normal job duties due to his/her personal illness or disability. Disabilities caused or contributed to by pregnancy, miscarriage, and/or childbirth shall be treated on the same terms and conditions as are applied to other temporary disabilities for which leave is authorized under this paragraph.
