PERS Membership Sample Clauses

PERS Membership. All classified employees who average half-time (.50 FTE) or more in employment, or at the completion of the qualifying number of hours or days in a fiscal year, shall become members of the Public Employees' Retirement System. Payroll deductions shall be made from earnings for the purpose of handling employee contributions to the retirement fund. District contributions for classified employees retirement compensation shall be made in accordance with all pertinent legal provisions of the United States and the State of California.

PERS Membership. Employees shall be eligible for participation in the Oregon Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) and the Oregon Public Service Retirement Plan (OPSRP) pursuant to ORS 238 and 238A subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, dated January 22, 1982, integrating the Multnomah County Employees' Retirement System and PERS, such Agreement having been entered into between the Public Employees' Retirement Board and Multnomah County pursuant to the provisions of ORS 238.680.

  • Membership The Committee shall include nine (9) members - five (5) representatives from CUPE/SCFP and four (4) representatives from the CTA. Up to two (2) advisors from the Ministry of Education shall act in a resource capacity to the committee. Other persons may attend meetings in order to provide support and resources as mutually agreed. Up to one (1) representative from each of the four (4) employee bargaining agencies at the other education workers tables will be invited to participate on the Committee.

  • Managing Member Unless otherwise expressly provided in this Agreement, the Managing Member or any of its Affiliates who hold any Interests shall not be entitled to vote in its capacity as holder of such Interests on matters submitted to the Members for approval, and no such Interests shall be deemed Outstanding for purposes of any such vote.
