Permitted Debt Exchanges Sample Clauses
The Permitted Debt Exchanges clause defines the conditions under which a borrower is allowed to exchange existing debt for new debt, typically with different terms or instruments, without breaching the agreement. This clause outlines the types of debt exchanges that are allowed, such as swapping bonds for new notes or converting loans into other forms of indebtedness, often subject to specific limitations or requirements. Its core practical function is to provide flexibility for the borrower to manage or restructure its debt obligations while ensuring that such exchanges do not violate the terms of the original agreement or adversely affect the interests of the lenders.
