Performance does not improve. A memorandum will be prepared to notify the employee that performance continues to not meet expectations. In addition, the employee will receive a formal performance appraisal for the rating period if the formal appraisal was previously postponed in favor of the PIP. Any resulting performance-based action will be taken in accordance with DOE O 331.1B. Such actions for bargaining unit employees will be taken in accordance with this Agreement.
