Common use of Performance Certificate Clause in Contracts

Performance Certificate. 16.1 Performance of the Contractor’s obligations under the Contract shall not be considered to have been completed until the Employer has issued the Performance Certificate to the Contractor, stating the date on which the Contractor fulfilled the Contractor’s obligations under the Contract. 16.2 The Performance Certificate shall be issued within 28 days after the expiry date of the Defects Liability Period once the Contractor rectifies all the defects notified by the Employer.
