Common use of Pension Provision Clause in Contracts

Pension Provision. Although provisions relating to pension provision are not within the purview of this Agreement, the service of a youth and community worker in a club, centre, or project maintained by a local educational authority is pensionable under the Teachers’ Pension Scheme Regulations 2014 and the Teachers’ Pension Regulations 2010. From 1 January 2007, all qualifying youth and community workers, whether full-time or part-time, are eligible to join the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS).
