Common use of Payola Clause in Contracts

Payola. Programmer will not accept, and will not knowingly permit any of its employees to accept, any consideration, compensation, gift, or gratuity of any kind whatsoever, regardless of its value or form, for the broadcast of any material on the Stations, unless the payer is identified on the program for which consideration was provided as having paid for or furnished such consideration, in accordance with the Act and FCC requirements.

Payola.
