Common use of Payment on Termination Clause in Contracts

Payment on Termination. 19.3.1 If the employment of any employee is terminated for any reason at the expiration of a full year of employment the Company shall be deemed to have given the leave to the employee from the date of termination of the employment and shall forthwith pay to the employee in addition to all other amounts due to the employee his/her pay, calculated in accordance with subclause 19.6(b) hereof, for four weeks less payment of any leave previously taken.
