Common use of PAYMENT FROM OUTSIDE AGENCIES Clause in Contracts

PAYMENT FROM OUTSIDE AGENCIES. CONTRACTOR shall notify LEA when Medi-Cal or any other agency is billed for the costs associated with the provision of special education and/or related services covered by this Master Contract or the ISA to LEA pupils. Upon request, CONTRACTOR shall provide to LEA any and all documentation regarding reports, billing, and/or payment by Medi-Cal or any other agency for the costs associated with the provision of special education and/or related services covered by this Master Contract or ISA to LEA pupils. CONTRACTOR shall provide prior written notice of the rights and protections required by Title 34 of the Code of Federal Regulations section 300.154(d) whenever it seeks to use the LEA students’ public benefits to pay for special education and related services. Such notice shall be provided before seeking payment from Medi-Cal for the first time and annually.
