Initiate means, with respect to any Clinical Trial, first dosing in such Clinical Trial of the first human subject with the disease or condition for which the Product in such Clinical Trial is intended.
Disclose or "disclosure" means to permit access to, or the release, transfer, or other communication of personally identifiable information by any means, including oral, written, or electronic, whether intended or unintended.
Publish means publicly to issue or circulate by newspaper, mail, radio, or television or otherwise to disseminate to the public.
Exploit means to make, have made, import, use, sell, or offer for sale, including to research, Develop, Commercialize, Manufacture, have Manufactured, obtain Regulatory Approval for, hold, or keep (whether for disposal or otherwise), have used, export, transport, distribute, promote, market, or have sold or otherwise dispose of on a worldwide basis. “Exploitation” shall mean the act of Exploiting.
Reproduce means to make copies of the Work by any means including without limitation by sound or visual recordings and the right of fixation and reproducing fixations of the Work, including storage of a protected performance or phonogram in digital form or other electronic medium.
Develop means to engage in Development.
Comment means the findings and recommendations of the Council for- mally provided in writing to the head of a Federal agency under section 106.
Originate means any of the following:
Abandon means the vacating of all or a substantial portion of the leased premises by Lessee, whether or not Lessee is in default of the rental payments due under this Lease.
Disseminate when referring to a notice or other information to be sent by the Depositary to Owners, shall mean (i) sending that information to Owners in paper form by mail or another means or (ii) with the consent of Owners, another procedure that has the effect of making the information available to Owners, which may include (A) sending the information by electronic mail or electronic messaging or (B) sending in paper form or by electronic mail or messaging a statement that the information is available and may be accessed by the Owner on an Internet website and that it will be sent in paper form upon request by the Owner, when that information is so available and is sent in paper form as promptly as practicable upon request.
Engage means participate in, consult with, be employed by, or assist with the organization, policy making, ownership, financing, management, operation or control of any Similar Business in any capacity (i.e., as an independent contractor, consultant, employee, shareholder, member-owner, or business partner).
Cannibalize means to remove parts from Government property for use or for installation on other Government property.
Sell means to exchange a contract of insurance by any means, for money or its equivalent, on behalf of an insurance company.
Improve means to build, alter, repair, or demolish an improvement upon, connected with, or beneath the surface of any real property, to excavate, clear, grade, fill, or landscape any real property, to construct driveways and roadways, or to perform labor upon improvements.
Prosecute means preparation, filing, and prosecuting patent applications and maintaining patents, including any reexaminations, reissues, oppositions, inter partes review, and interferences.
Print means a multiple produced by, but not limited to, such processes as engraving, etching, woodcutting, lithography, and serigraphy, a multiple produced or developed from a photographic negative, or a multiple produced or developed by any combination of such processes.
Façade means the principal front or fronts of a building.
Abstract means a written or electronic summary of all matters of record affecting title to a specific parcel of real estate prepared in accordance with abstract minimum standards adopted by the division, provided however, that for nonpurchase transactions, “abstract” may also mean a written or electronic short-form summary setting forth the titleholders, liens, and encumbrances in accordance with guidelines adopted by the division.
Aide means the individual designated to be responsible for helping the program leader in supervising children and in implementing the activities and services for children. Aides may also be referred to as assistant teachers or child care assistants.
Declination means the process by which Treasury refuses to make final payment on a check, i.e., declines pay- ment, by instructing a Federal Reserve Bank to reverse its provisional credit to a presenting bank.
Interview (in subsections (3) to (7)) means a work-focused interview; “relevant benefit”, in relation to any person required to take part in a work-focused interview, means any benefit in relation to which that requirement applied by virtue of subsection (1)(a) or (b) above;
Challenge means to appeal a ruling of the Chair.
Advertise means the publication or dissemination of an advertisement.
Holocene means the most recent epoch of the Quaternary period, extending from the end of the Pleistocene Epoch to the present.
Manage or “Management” means to generate, handle, manufacture, process, treat, store, use, re-use, refine, recycle, reclaim, blend or burn for energy recovery, incinerate, accumulate speculatively, transport, transfer, dispose of, release, threaten to release or abandon Hazardous Substances.
Likeness means an identifiable symbol attributed and easily identified as belonging to a specific restaurant.
