Section 1.2 IT IS AGREED BY AND BETWEEN THE PARTIES THAT ANY PROVISION OF THIS AGREEMENT REQUIRING LEGISLATIVE ACTION TO PERMIT ITS IMPLEMENTATION BY AMENDMENT OF LAW OR BY PROVIDING THE ADDITIONAL FUNDS THEREFORE SHALL NOT BECOME EFFECTIVE UNTIL THE APPROPRIATE LEGISLATIVE BODY HAS GIVEN APPROVAL.
Section 1.3 The Library, acting pursuant to the Public Employees' Fair Employment Act, recognizes the Association as the exclusive representative of the employees in the following employer-employee negotiating unit: All full-time and part-time Librarian Trainees and all professional Librarians holding full time, regular-part time or part-time positions as Librarian I, Librarian II, Librarian III, Librarian IV, Librarian V, Library Director I, Library Director II, Library Director III or Library Director IV in the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library System.
