Common use of Parental payment Clause in Contracts

Parental payment. 3B.8.1 Where an employee to whom this Part 3B applies takes primary carer leave (as defined in section 2 of the Parental Leave and Employment Protection Act 1987) after 4 July 2022, and returns to duty before or at the expiration of their parental leave and completes a further 6 months service, they qualify for a payment equivalent to 6 weeks’ pay, at the rate applying for the 6 weeks immediately prior to the commencement of parental leave.

Parental payment. 3B.8.1 3.1.9.1 Where an employee to whom this Part 3B 3.1 applies takes primary carer leave (as defined in section 2 of the Parental Leave and Employment Protection Act 1987) after 4 July 2022, and returns to duty before or at the expiration of their parental leave and completes a further 6 months service, they qualify for a payment equivalent to 6 weeks’ pay, pay at the rate applying for the 6 weeks immediately prior to the commencement of parental leave.

Parental payment. 3B.8.1 3C.8.1 Where an employee to whom this Part 3B 3C applies takes primary carer leave (as defined in section 2 of the Parental Leave and Employment Protection Act 1987) after 4 July 20226 March 2023, and returns to duty before or at the expiration of their parental leave and completes a further 6 six months service, they qualify for a payment equivalent to 6 six weeks’ pay, at the rate applying for the 6 six weeks immediately prior to the commencement of parental leave.

Parental payment. 3B.8.1 4A.8.1 Where an employee to whom this Part 3B 4A applies takes primary carer leave (as defined in section 2 of the Parental Leave and Employment Protection Act 1987) after 4 July 2022, and returns to duty before or at the expiration of their parental leave and completes a further 6 months service, they qualify for a payment equivalent to 6 weeks’ pay, at the rate applying for the 6 weeks immediately prior to the commencement of parental leave.
