Paragraph 134. An employee who plans to retire and who has fifteen (15) years service as an employee in the Rockland Public Schools, and has accumulated fifty (50) days or more of sick leave, the Employee shall receive one (1) day’s pay for each day over the fifty (50) up to one-hundred (100) days computed on the basis of his or her applicable salary at the time of retirement or resignation of the then applicable salary as provided in Paragraph 100. For employees hired after July 1, 2010, twenty (20) years service are required to be eligible for a separation benefit. Article Fourteen BEREAVEMENT

Paragraph 134. The obligation of the Company to provide insurance, to pay the premi- ums and to continue the premium payments as provided in Paragraph 130 and Paragraph 133 shall terminate and shall not apply for the benefit of an employee who during the term of this Agreement, directly or indirectly causes, assists, authorizes, condones, encourages, induc- es, finances, permits, sponsors, supports, threatens or participates in any form or manner in a slowdown, strike, the withholding of services, picketing or any interference with the operations of any of the functions of the Company. Paragraph 136 The Company and Union both agree to conform to any and all provi- sions set forth as a result of Federal or State legislation related to em- ployee medical benefits.
