Panel Meetings Sample Clauses

The 'Panel Meetings' clause defines the procedures and requirements for convening and conducting meetings of a designated panel or committee. It typically outlines how meetings are called, the notice period required, quorum requirements, and the manner in which decisions are made—such as by majority vote or consensus. For example, it may specify that meetings can be held in person or via teleconference, and detail how minutes are recorded and distributed. The core function of this clause is to ensure orderly, transparent, and effective decision-making by establishing clear rules for how the panel operates.

Panel meetings will commence at 8:30 a.m., and no case will commence after 5:00 p.m., unless the Co-Chairpersons agree to do otherwise.

Panel Meetings. Notwithstanding provisions in Section 4.9.3.2 of the General Conditions and in Exhibit 21 with respect to on-site meetings, the Panel may adopt operating procedures that allow for meetings by video conference rather than in-person and on-site meetings during the period between NTP1 and one year after NTP1, as such period may be extended by mutual agreement of the Parties, provided that conducting such meetings by video conference does not hinder the Panel from otherwise fulfilling its responsibilities and obligations.
Panel Meetings. Notwithstanding the Panel’s statutory role, the PCC is singularly and publically accountable for the maintenance of an efficient and effective police force. The PCC will require to be, and be seen to be, publically and visibly accountable for decisions made and actions taken. To assist this, and to encourage as wide an engagement with the public as possible it is expected that meetings of the Police and Crime Panel will be held at a variety of locations across Devon and Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, at venues readily accessible to the public and preferably that offer webcast facilities.
