PAID HOLIDAYS/CALENDAR. A. Each teacher shall receive six (6) paid holidays. Teachers on 11 or 12 month contract status shall receive additional appropriate holidays that fall within their employment year. B. The calendar, including paid holidays, for all teachers (10 month, 11 month and 12 month) for the next school year will be posted in each school before the last work day of the current school year and during pre-school planning period each year. C. The Calendar Committee will meet as required by the School Board Policy to consider changes in the school calendar and shall make recommendations to the Superintendent for approval. The Association will be notified before any changes are made in the school calendar. (This item shall not apply in emergency situations.)
