Paid Breaks. 2.8.1 Employees shall be entitled to paid breaks in accordance with 2.8.2 and 2.8.3 below.
Paid Breaks. 1. A twenty (20) minute break for Employees working at least four (4) continuous hours per day.
Paid Breaks. A paid break of not more than fifteen (15) minutes shall be granted to each employee for every four (4) hours of regularly scheduled work performed except during an unusual situation or emergency created beyond the control of the College. Such rest periods shall be a time detached from lunch periods, the beginning and end of shifts, and although scheduled at the discretion of the Chief of Police/Designee shall be taken near the midpoint of each half-shift when practicable.
Paid Breaks. All day shift employees shall be entitled to one (1) twenty (20) minute lunch period and two (2) ten (10) minute break periods with pay for each day, exclusive of reasonable travel time.
Paid Breaks. There shall be paid breaks as follows: DAY SHIFT 1030 to 1050/1310 to 0000 XXXXXXXXX SHIFT 1830 to 1850/2110 to 2130 NIGHT SHIFT 0230 to 0250/0510 to 0530
Paid Breaks. ESP’s who work eight (8) hours per day (an eight-hour shift) shall receive one scheduled paid fifteen (15) minute break during each four (4) hours of scheduled work. The clock times of these breaks shall be determined by the Employee’s immediate supervisor, and may not coincide with the beginning or ending of the Employee’s shift. The breaks may not be taken concurrently, during the same four hour period, accumulated, or extended.
Paid Breaks. Every employee shall be entitled to a 15 (fifteen) minute paid break for each 4 (four) hours worked or employees shall take breaks with prior consultation with co-workers and can be breaks of shorter nature with increased frequency.
Paid Breaks. (a) The Employer shall provide one (1) paid break of fifteen (15) minutes during each shift of not less than three point eight seven (3.87) hours or;
Paid Breaks. (a) Employees shall be entitled to the following paid breaks: Hours Worked Break Entitlement Shift under 4 hours One (1) fifteen (15) minute rest break Shift of over five (5) hours up to six (6) hours One (1) additional thirty (30) minute meal break Shift of over six (6) hours One (1) additional fifteen (15) minute rest break Breaks are to be scheduled during a regularly scheduled shift, subject to operational needs and by mutual agreement of the employee and Employer. It is understood that Management may cover breaks to ensure compliance with municipal bylaws for minimum staffing levels.
Paid Breaks a. Employees shall receive an unpaid lunch break of one-half (½) hour in case they are scheduled to work a shift of five (5) hours or more. There shall also be one (1) fifteen (15) minutes break with pay during each half shift. The lunch hour and the fifteen minute breaks shall be at times designated by the Employer. Employees shall be allowed to take their full fifteen (15) minutes uninterrupted, except in cases of emergency.
