Packing Requirements. The Parties acknowledge that MSS is striving to eliminate single-use plastic therefore, Supplier must use all reasonable endeavours to avoid use of single-use plastic, minimize the use of plastic for packing and opt to use other sustainable options where possible. Buyer must use all reasonable endeavours to return packing to Supplier whenever possible. All Goods delivered shall be packed in appropriate packaging that is suitable for secure, onwards domestic or overseas transport with due consideration to the nature and composition of the Goods supplied. Each PO must be packed separately to ensure proper registration and receipt. Supplier is allowed to pack several POs on the same pallet, as long as each PO is packed in its own package. Pallets containing packages for several POs shall be labelled with an A4 sized sign “Mixed Pallet” or “Split Pallet”. Supplier must pack multiple packages for a single PO on the same pallet. Supplier may not split a PO with multiple packages over several pallets unless the PO is so large that it fills one pallet and needs to be packed on a second pallet. Supplier shall otherwise follow any reasonable handling and packing instructions.

Packing Requirements. A pack shall contain a minimum of one message record or a maximum of 9,999 message records plus a pack header record and a pack trailer record. A file transmission contains a maximum of 99 packs. A dataset shall contain a minimum of one pack. PACIFIC will provide CLEC one dataset per sending location with the agreed upon OCN populated in the Header and Trailer records. Within the Header and Trailer records, the FROM RAO xxxntifies the location that will be sending usage to CLEC. PACIFIC will populate the FROM RAO xxxld with the unique numeric value identifying the location that is sending the data to CLEC. Also, Pack Header and Trailer will have the OCN appropriately populated. The FROM RAO, XXN, and Remote Identifiers will be used by CLEC to control invoice sequencing and each will have its own invoice controls. The FROM RAO xxxl also be used to determine where the message returns file, containing any misdirected and unguidable usage, will be sent. The file's Record Format (RECFM) will be Variable Block (VB) Size 2,476 and the Logical Record Length (LRECL) will be 2,472 bytes. CLEC has no special sort requirements for the packs sent by PACIFIC.
Packing Requirements. The contractor shall pack as follows: Domestic Shipments (CONUS): Level B Overseas Shipments (OCONUS) (including Navy ships at sea): Via air, FPO, APO Level B Via freight forwarder Level B Via surface Level A Exterior shipping containers for Packing Levels A and B are listed in MIL-STD-2073-1, Appendix C, Table C.II. Long-life reusable containers and wood containers are shipping containers which do not require overpacking for shipment.
Packing Requirements. All Products shall be packed or otherwise prepared for shipment so as to secure the lowest transportation rates to meet carrier’s requirements and in accordance with good commercial practice and any regulations and/or laws applicable with respect to the Product being shipped. All shipments shall state actual cost for purchased Product and actual repair costs if a repaired Product. All incorrect declarations of value resulting in an additional duty charge shall be at Vendor’s expense. Packing sheets must accompany each shipment. IMPORTANT: Purchase Order number, part number, and part serial number (where applicable) must appear on all shipping labels, packing slips, transport documents, invoices and marked shipments or papers. In addition, Cobalt will retain the right to refuse such shipments or may return those which do not meet Cobalt’s shipping requirements at Vendor’s expense.
