Common use of Owner’s Right to Make Changes Clause in Contracts

Owner’s Right to Make Changes. The Owner without invalidating the Contract may authorize or order extra work or may authorize or order changes by altering, adding to, or deducting from the Work, the Contract Price or the Contract Time, or both, being adjusted accordingly. The Contractor hereby expressly agrees that the Contractor shall have no right to a claim for damages or extended overhead of any nature because of changes made by the Owner. Such Work is hereinafter designated “change” or “changes”.
