Common use of Owner Consent Clause in Contracts

Owner Consent. Contractor shall not be required to obtain the consent of Owner or deliver any Notice to Owner prior to engaging any Subcontractor other than a Major Subcontractor. The engagement by Contractor of any Major Subcontractor (other than those set forth in Exhibit K) shall be subject to the prior written consent of Owner, which shall not be unreasonably delayed, conditioned or withheld; provided, if Owner fails to respond within ten (10) Business Days to the request for any additional Major Subcontractors to be added to the list, such Subcontractor shall be deemed to be added to the list of Major Subcontractors. As a condition to Owner giving its approval to additions to Exhibit K, Contractor shall provide to Owner such information as is reasonably available on the proposed Major Subcontractor’s experience, safety and net worth as Owner may reasonably request.
