Overtime, Saturday, Sunday and Holiday Work. All time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day, all time worked before 6:00 a.m. or after 6:00 p.m. and all time worked on Saturday shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times the established hourly rate of pay with the exception of time worked on Saturday make-up which shall be paid at straight time. However, if any craft to which the contractor is signatory, other than the Operating Engineers, is working on the job and receiving overtime pay, then the Laborer will receive overtime pay.

Overtime, Saturday, Sunday and Holiday Work. (a) All time in excess of eight (8) hours per day, all time worked before 6:00 a.m. or after 6:00 p.m. and all time worked on Saturday shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 ½) times the established hourly rate of pay with the exception of time worked on Saturday make-up which shall be at straight time. The Contractor must notify the Union before a Saturday make-up day can be utilized. If the Contractor does not notify the North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters, all time worked on the Saturday make-up day shall be paid at one and one-half (1 ½) times the hourly wage rate. This provision of the Agreement is not to be used as a floating forty (40).

  • Saturday Work A day worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter, except where the overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the previous day.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work (a) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday, the employee will be paid a loading of 50% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period.

  • Holiday Falling on Saturday or Sunday For an employee whose normal workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday will be deemed to be the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work Week: Five (5) consecutive days per week, Sunday to Saturday. Work Day: Seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours to be scheduled within the hours of operation.

  • HOLIDAYS AND HOLIDAY PAY 131. A holiday is calculated based on an eight hour day. The following days are designated as holidays:
