Overtime Accumulation. Not applicable to part-time. If an employee is authorized to work, during the lunch break, due to the requirements of patient care, he will be paid his regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked. Notwithstanding this provision, he will be paid time and one-half (1 his regular straight time hourly rate for all time worked in excess of the normal or standard work day. An employee who continues to work more than two (2) hours of overtime immediately following his scheduled hours of work, shall be provided with a meal voucher valued at a maximum of four dollars ($4.00) or four dollars ($4.00) if the Hospital is unable to provide a meal voucher. Failure to provide twenty (20) hours between the commencement of an employee’s scheduled shift and the commencement of such employee’s next scheduled shift shall result in payment of one and one-half (1 times the employee’s regular straight time hourly rate for only those hours which reduce the twenty (20) hour period. Where the twenty (20) hour period is reduced as a result of an approved change of requested by the such premium payment shall not apply. (Applicable to Regular Part-time Employees Only) Where a regular part-time employee’s scheduled shift is cancelled by the Hospital with less than twelve (12) hours notice, she shall receive time and one-half (1 of her regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked on her next shift. An employee shall be paid at his basic straight-time rate according to the hours worked when the time changes from Daylight Saving Time to Eastern Standard Time and vice versa. The Hospital does not guarantee to provide employment or work for normal hours or for any other hours. ARTICLE STANDBY An employee required to standby or remain available for call-back duty on other than regular scheduled hours shall be paid at the rate of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour of standby time. Where such standby falls on any of the designated holidays listed in the collective agreement, the employee shall be paid at the rate of three dollars ($3.00) per hour of standby time. Hours worked for call-back shall be deducted from hours for which the employee receives standby pay. However, an employee shall be entitled to a minimum of five dollars ($5.00) for each eight hour period on standby even if called back to work. ARTICLE CALL BACK

Accumulated overtime not taken as time off or paid out by this date shall be paid to the employee in the last pay period of the fiscal year.
Overtime Accumulation. Overtime which has been banked for the purpose of time off in lieu, which has not been taken in the calendar year in which it has been earned, shall be paid for at the employee's hourly rate by December in the year in which the overtime was earned.

Overtime Accumulation. The Parties hereby agree that in those operations subject to temporary shut down and lay-off (i.e. Abbotsford), employees may accumulate up to a maximum of four (4) weeks in time off in a calendar year, provided two (2) of those weeks are used during the period of temporary lay-off.
