Outside Funding Clause Samples

The Outside Funding clause defines the terms under which a party to the agreement may seek or accept financial support from sources outside the current contractual relationship. Typically, this clause outlines any requirements for disclosure, limitations, or approvals needed before obtaining such funding, and may specify whether the outside funding can be used for the same project or purpose as the agreement covers. Its core function is to prevent conflicts of interest, ensure transparency, and protect the interests of the parties by regulating external financial influences that could impact the agreement.
