Outside Advertising Sample Clauses

Outside Advertising. The Employer reserves the right to advertise new or vacant positions as deemed necessary. All internal applicants for new or vacant positions will be given first consideration and must be disqualified for the position before it is offered to outside applicants.

Outside Advertising. Where the Employer determines that there are no qualified employee applicants, the Employer may fill the vacancy by any other recruitment and selection process.
Outside Advertising. In cases where the Employer chooses to simultaneously advertise and post a vacancy, the Employer will review the decision with the Union prior to the selection being made. If there is no successful applicant from within the bargaining unit, the Employer may fill the position from outside the bargaining unit.

No outside applicants will be interviewed until applications of present employees have been considered and it has been established that no internal applicant is qualified for the position. Outside Advertising. Vacancies may be advertised externally at the same time as internally. Subject to Article 25.4(b), an internal applicant (as defined in Article 25.4) with sufficient qualifications shall be awarded the position.
