Other Work Assignments. It is agreed that employees at the University may be assigned to other tasks during certain times without an increase or decrease in their regular rate of pay as opposed to being laid off because of lack of available work in their specific classifications. It is understood that the above provision does not guarantee twelve months employment each year to any employee but is merely a sincere effort on the part of the University to utilize the talents and services of regular employees during normally slow periods.

Other Work Assignments. When a staff member's position has been temporarily eliminated or substantially reduced during slow periods, they may be assigned to other tasks without an increase or decrease in regular pay until the end of the slow period. Such involuntary transfers shall be held to a minimum.
Other Work Assignments. Customer Service employees may be required by the Employer to do other work than that which is associated with customer service. Employees shall be paid at not less than the same hourly rate to which they are entitled for their classification. However, should customer service employees do other work for the Employer which is paid for at a higher hourly rate than the customer service employee’s pay, they shall receive such higher rates of pay.
Other Work Assignments. $25.84 (.000664 x $38,921.93) per hour Allowances may be made by the Superintendent for other additional duties which may be assigned.

  • Work Assignments Section 1. The Company shall determine whether to staff a position or fill a vacancy and the method or combination of methods it shall use for such purposes. In making this determination, the Company shall first give consideration to qualified laid off employees with applications on file in accordance with Article 14 Section 7 of this Agreement and then internal candidates prior to off-street applicants. All vacancies within the Bargaining Unit shall be posted (manually or electronically) in locations where Bargaining Unit employees regularly work. The posting shall include the title, wage range, and sufficient information regarding requirements and duties to adequately describe the vacancy. The vacancy shall remain posted for seven (7) calendar days which shall be spread between two (2) workweeks.

  • Work Assignment 1. It is understood that the assignment of work to purchased services does not convey a right to such work in the future, nor does it create any precedent with respect to future assignment of such work to purchased service employees by the employer.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • Assignment of Work (a) The parties agree that it is essential to ensure that all employees be advised of their job expectations, duties and responsibilities.

  • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.

  • SUBLET/ASSIGNMENT The Lessee may not transfer or assign this Lease, or any right or interest hereunder or sublet said leased Premises or any part thereof without first obtaining the prior written consent and approval of the Lessor.

  • Housing Assignments The University assigns Licensee to a bed space and does not guarantee specific room types, room spaces, apartments, or roommates. The University shall have the right to reassign the Licensee to a different bed space without the Licensee's consent prior to or during the term of the agreement.
