Other Time Off. Paid absence time will be granted in accordance with Article 9, section 9.15. An employee who is eligible for absence payments will receive ten (10) hours of pay if the employee is sick on a scheduled ten-hour (10) day, unless the remaining balance of paid absence time is less than ten (10) hours.
