Common use of Other Purposes Clause in Contracts

Other Purposes. A member of the bargaining unit may be granted a leave of absence without pay for educational, professional, or other purposes. At the discretion of the member, such leave shall be for (a) the balance of the school year or (b) the balance of the school year and the next ensuing school year. Upon written request, the Board may grant an extension of such leave for one additional school year. Such leaves as is provided in this subsection shall be granted in accordance with the section and Section 3319.13 of the Revised Code.
