The "Other Privileges" clause defines additional rights or benefits granted to a party beyond those explicitly stated elsewhere in the agreement. This may include access to certain facilities, use of proprietary information, or participation in special programs, depending on the context of the contract. Its core function is to ensure that any supplementary entitlements are clearly outlined, preventing misunderstandings and providing a comprehensive record of all privileges associated with the agreement.
Other Privileges. If the national legislation of the Contracting Parties or an international agreement to which both Contracting Parties are parties thereto, grant to the investments or to the investors of the other Contracting Party a treatment more favourable than that granted under this Agree1nent, such treatment shall prevail over this Agreement.
Other Privileges. Section 1. The DEPARTMENT shall allow all employees who are about to retire from their Official duties and functions to be considered on official time at least one (1) month prior to their last day of service, to enable the employee to transact/ facilitate the release of their clearances from other government agencies Section 2. The DEPARTMENT shall allow all employees, who have transactions with other government offices such as GSIS, PAG-IBIG, NSO, NBI, PNP, PRC and DFA for clearances related or incidental to employment, to be considered on official time, subject to the exigencies of the service. Section 3. The DEPARTMENT shall provide legal service and representation, to an employee who is: a. Sued for acts committed arising from his/her employment and within the scope of his/ her official duties and responsibilities; and b. Required to appear in court on matters arising from or in the course of his/ her employment and within the scope of his/her official duties and responsibilities. However, nothing in this provision shall be construed to mean that the DEPARTMENT shall provide legal assistance and representation where the employee is sued in his/ her personal capacity, for acts beyond the scope of his/her official duties and responsibilities, or in criminal cases or civil suits for damages arising from felony.

These include membership to the Recreation and Wellness Center, use of the ▇▇▇▇▇ Learning Center, and the services of a notary. Memorandums of contract for full-time faculty are issued in the spring semester, no later than April 1, for the succeeding academic year. Each faculty memorandum will specify the type of appointment, locus of appointment, rank, salary, and primary duties of the individual, as well as the term of the appointment. The faculty member's initial memorandum of contract will set forth any special conditions or considerations as required by this Handbook. Signing the memorandum of contract, the faculty member agrees to the terms of the appointment as described in the memorandum of contract. The faculty member, by virtue of signing the memorandum of contract, also agrees to the terms and conditions of employment as delineated in section two of this Handbook. Accompanying the faculty memorandum of contract is a compensation sheet detailing the University's share of all fringe benefits received by the faculty. The faculty member will also receive an advisory letter detailing his/her status in regard to eligibility for promotion and/or senior faculty status, as determined by policy described in this Handbook.
