Other Overtime. ‌ Employees not covered by 17.1 who work overtime shall be reimbursed at the rate of time and a half (1½x) for the first two (2) hours after the normal working day, and double-time thereafter. Weekends and statutory holidays worked at the Employer's request shall be at the rate of double-time. The employee shall have the option of taking such compensation in the form of cash payment or leave with pay. Overtime of less than fifteen (15) minutes shall not be recorded. Overtime of sixteen (16) minutes or more shall be rounded out to the nearest one-half (½) hour. All overtime shall be pre-authorized by the designated supervisor.

  • Daily Overtime All employees shall be paid the applicable overtime rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Payment of Overtime 5.5.1 Subject to the provisions of this sub-clause, all work performed outside of the ordinary hours of any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, will be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first 2 hours and double time thereafter. If a staff member has extenuating circumstances occurring on a mandatory overtime day, they may request a release from the mandatory overtime day from the Director of Public Safety, or designee. The employee shall meet with the Director of Public Safety, or designee, to discuss the extenuating circumstance. The Director of Public Safety, or designee, shall respond to the staff member’s request as soon as possible.

  • Payment for Overtime 1. Except as provided in 2.C.3., below, overtime shall be compensated at one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate.

  • Overtime Meals When an employee is required to work more than two (2) hours beyond his regular work day, the Company will provide a hot meal at no cost to the employee, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus a paid meal period of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate, and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any unscheduled early morning start before regular starting time entitles the employee to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00). An employee called out on overtime shall be paid for a meal as above after four (4) hours work.
