Common use of Other Leaves Without Pay Clause in Contracts

Other Leaves Without Pay. 6.6.1 Leave without compensation, vertical step increment, or tenure credit, may be granted for one school year for the following purposes, which include, but are not limited to: Peace Corps, care for a member of the immediate family who is ill, long term illness of a unit member (other than that provided in Article 6.11), adoption and/or care of a child, service in an elected public office, or professional study or research. Leaves granted under this Article may be extended for a maximum of one year at the discretion of the District.

Leaves granted under this Article Upon recommendation of the Superintendent and approval of the School Board, leave without compensation, increment, seniority, or tenure credit may be extended granted for a maximum any other personal reason. The application for and granting of one year at the discretion such leave of the Districtabsence shall be in writing.

Other Leaves Without Pay. 6.6.1 Leave 14.19.1 Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent and approval by the Board of Education, leave without compensation, vertical step increment, seniority or tenure credit, may be granted for a period of one (1) school year for the following purposes, which include, but are not limited to: Peace Corps, ; care for a member of the immediate family who is ill, long ; long-term illness of a unit the member (other than that provided in Article 6.11)of the bargaining unit; campaign for, adoption and/or care of a childor service in, service in an elected public office, ; or professional study or research. Leaves granted under this Article may be extended for a maximum of one year at the discretion of the District.
