Common use of Other Expenditures Clause in Contracts

Other Expenditures. Other reasonable expenditures not covered or dealt with in the foregoing provisions of this Clause 3 which are necessarily incurred by the Contractor for the proper, economical and efficient conduct of Petroleum Operations. Such expenditures shall be submitted to the Ministry for prior approval as "Other Expenditures" with explanations of the transaction and why it should be a Recoverable Cost. Where prior approval is not feasible, Contractor shall submit to the Ministry for its consent the foregoing explanations and additionally, the reason for which prior approval was not feasible. Such consent shall not unreasonably be withheld.
