Common use of Orthodontics Clause in Contracts

Orthodontics. In the event that the alternative treatment provision in the Dental Plan results in a disagreement between dentists on the preferred treatment for an employee or dependent, the opinion of a third party dentist agreeable to the University and the Union will be sought and that dentist's opinion will be binding on the insurance carrier.
