Organ Transplant. Covered in accordance with basic surgical procedure benefits as indicated on the Schedule of Benefits. Transplant must be pre-certified and approved by the plan. Only the services, care and treatment received for, or in connection with, the pre-approved transplant of organs, which are determined by the Plan to be medically necessary services and which are not experimental, investigational or for research purposes except as permitted through approved clinical trials will be covered by this Plan. Coverage for Organ Donor is included.

Organ Transplant. We shall reimburse the Reasonable and Customary Charges incurred on transplantation Surgery for You being the recipient of the transplant of a heart, kidney, lung, liver or bone marrow.
