Ordering and Provisioning Parity. U S WEST shall provide Pac-West with the same level of ordering and provisioning support as U S WEST provides itself in accordance with standards and performance measurements that U S WEST uses and/or which are required by law, regulatory agency, or by U S WEST's own internal procedures, whichever are the most rigorous. These standards shall apply to the quality of the technology, equipment, facilities, processes, and techniques (including, but not limited to, such new architecture, equipment, facilities, and interfaces as U S WEST may deploy) that U S WEST provides to Pac-West under this Agreement.

The Loop and port cannot be a Loop and port combination (i.e. UNE-P), but must be individual stand-alone Network Elements. When BellSouth owns the splitter, Line Splitting requires the following: a non designed analog Loop from the serving wire center to the NID at the End User’s location with CFA and splitter port assignments, and a collocation cross connection from the collocation space connected to a voice port.

  • Provisioning Provisioning is the set of activities required to install, change or disconnect a Customer’s service. It includes the functions to establish or condition physical facilities as well as the completion of any required software translations to define the feature functionality of the service. Provisioning also involves communication between SPRINT and VERIZON on the status of a service order, including any delay in meeting the commitment date and the time at which actual completion of service installation has occurred. Measurements in this category evaluate the quality of service installations, the efficiency of the installation process and the timeliness of notifications to SPRINT that installation is completed or has been delayed.
