Oral Presentation Clarification Clause Samples
The Oral Presentation Clarification clause defines the process by which parties may clarify or elaborate on information presented orally during negotiations or meetings. Typically, this clause allows for follow-up questions or requests for additional details to ensure that all parties fully understand the content and intent of oral statements made. Its core practical function is to prevent misunderstandings and ensure that all parties have a clear and accurate understanding of oral communications, thereby reducing the risk of disputes arising from misinterpretation.
Oral Presentation Clarification. During the clarification period, the Government may request clarification of any of the points presented. Any such interchange between the Offeror and the Government will be for clarification only, and will not constitute discussions within the meaning of FAR 15.306(d). There is no time limit per se for clarifications; however, the Offeror will be limited to only 5 minutes for each clarification. Time for clarifications will not be counted against the Offeror's 120 minute presentation time limit.
