Optional Drive Around Sample Clauses

The Optional Drive Around clause allows a party, typically in a construction or transportation contract, to choose an alternative route or method to bypass an obstacle or delay on the primary route. In practice, this means that if a planned path is blocked or becomes impractical, the party can opt to use a different route, often with prior notice or subject to certain conditions, such as cost-sharing or approval requirements. This clause provides flexibility and helps prevent project delays by ensuring that work can continue even when unforeseen obstructions arise.
