Opportunity. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ looks forward to the opportunity to continue to partner with ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Schools to provide a comprehensive professional learning experience that supports and complements ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Schools’ vision and high performance schools planning for 2016-2017. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Schools (CCSD) and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ have created a partnership that is committed to improving student achievement and helping educators do their work better. The partnership and professional development plan is being implemented throughout ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Schools. The partnership with ▇▇▇▇▇▇ will provide comprehensive support for all teachers, leaders, and ultimately, students within ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Schools. This support will be comprised of differentiated and personalized professional development in the area of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇ literacy framework and implementation of a Balanced Literacy/Gradual Release of Responsibility approach. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ looks forward to creating a partnership that uses this foundation to ensure leadership development, quality student learning, and educational excellence. Participants will understand how a quality instructional model, increases student learning and rigor in the classroom. Using the 5 access points, as outlined in Rigorous Reading, educators will apply the Gradual Release of Responsibility framework to their instructional practice. We will emphasize student learning versus task completion.  Examine 5 access points and how they relate to quality instruction  Learn the Gradual Release of Responsibility (GRR) Instructional Model and its components o Focused Instruction o Guided Instruction o Collaborative Learning o Independent Practice
