Operator Services and Directory Assistance Services. VII.7.1 This Section 7.7 establishes the terms and conditions governing the provision to Requesting Carrier by Ameritech of manual and automated Local and intrastate intraLATA, interstate intraLATA Operator Toll and Assist Services (“OS”), and Home NPA Directory Assistance service and Information Call Completion Services (“DA”). Ameritech’s offering of OS and DA services is made available as a stand alone, integrated service and not as an unbundled Network Element.

If MCIm does not initially utilize available customized routing services to re-route OS/DA calls to its own or another party's operator services platform, Verizon will bill the CLEC for OS/DA calls at a market-based ICB rate pending MCIm's completion of a separate OS/DA agreement. The MRCs for an EEL will generally be equal to the applicable MRCs for UNEs and Multiplexing that comprise an EEL arrangement (e.g. UNE Loop, IDT, CDT, Multiplexing, & Clear Channel Capability).

  • Routing for Operator Services and Directory Assistance Traffic For a Verizon Telecommunications Service dial tone line purchased by CBB for resale pursuant to the Resale Attachment, upon request by CBB, Verizon will establish an arrangement that will permit CBB to route the CBB Customer’s calls for operator and directory assistance services to a provider of operator and directory assistance services selected by CBB. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement pursuant to an appropriate written request submitted by CBB and a mutually agreed-upon schedule. This routing arrangement will be implemented at CBB's expense, with charges determined on an individual case basis. In addition to charges for initially establishing the routing arrangement, CBB will be responsible for ongoing monthly and/or usage charges for the routing arrangement. CBB shall arrange, at its own expense, the trunking and other facilities required to transport traffic to CBB’s selected provider of operator and directory assistance services.

  • Directory Assistance Service 8.3.1 Directory Assistance Service provides local end user telephone number listings with the option to complete the call at the caller's direction separate and distinct from local switching.

  • Branding for Operator Call Processing and Directory Assistance 8.4.1 BellSouth's branding feature provides a definable announcement to Budget Phone end users using Directory Assistance (DA)/ Operator Call Processing (OCP) prior to placing such end users in queue or connecting them to an available operator or automated operator system. This feature allows Budget Phone's name on whose behalf BellSouth is providing Directory Assistance and/or Operator Call Processing. Rates for the branding features are set forth in Exhibit E.

  • Directory Assistance Service Updates 8.3.3.1 BellSouth shall update end user listings changes daily. These changes include:

  • Directory Assistance 72.1 The Parties acknowledge that CenturyLink is not a Directory Assistance (DA) provider. CenturyLink provides directory listings information for its subscribers to third party DA providers to be included in the national and local databases used by such third party providers. The Parties agree that to the extent the DA provider contracted by CLEC for DA services to CLEC’s subscribers also populates the national DA database, then CLEC’s DA listings have been made available to CenturyLink’s subscribers and no further effort is needed by either Party. If for any reason, CLEC desires that CenturyLink act as a middleman conduit for the placement of CLEC’s DA listings in the DA database(s), then CenturyLink shall provide such compensable DA listings service pursuant to separate written terms and conditions between CenturyLink and CLEC which will be attached to this Agreement as an Amendment.

  • Our Services As insurance intermediaries we generally act as the agent of our client. We are subject to the law of agency, which imposes various duties on us. However, in certain circumstances we may act for and owe duties of care to other parties, including the insurer. We will advise you when these circumstances occur, so you will be aware of any possible conflict of interest. We offer a wide range of products and services which may include: • Offering you a single or range of products from which to choose a product that suits your insurance needs; • Advising you on your insurance needs; • Arranging suitable insurance cover with insurers to meet your requirements; • Helping you with any subsequent changes to your insurance you have to make; • Providing all reasonable assistance with any claim you make. In some cases, we act for insurers under a delegated authority agreement and can enter into insurance policies, issue policy documentation and/or handle or settle claims on their behalf. Where we act on behalf of the insurer and not you, we will notify you accordingly and in relation to claims we will advise you of this fact when you notify us of a claim. Notwithstanding this, we endeavour to always act in your best interest. As intermediaries, we offer a wide range of insurance products and have access to many leading insurance companies and the Lloyd’s market. Depending on the type of cover you require and where we have provided advice based on a personal recommendation, we will offer you a policy from either: • a single insurer; • a limited range of insurers; or • a fair analysis that is representative of the insurance market. We will advise you separately as to which of these apply before we arrange your policy and where we have not undertaken a fair analysis of the market, we will provide you with a list of insurers considered. This documentation will also include a statement of your demands and needs. You should read this carefully as it will explain reasons for making the recommendation we have made.

  • Operator Services The Company provides Operator Services for telephone calls initiated from its Customers’ locations through contractual relationships with interstate and international service providers. Operator Services provided by the Company include Interstate Operator Services and International Operator Services (a) Responsibilities of the Company For Operator Services In addition to the responsibilities of the Company established elsewhere in the Rates, Terms and Conditions, the following responsibilities of the Company apply to Company provision of Operator Services.
