Common use of Operation and Maintenance Data Clause in Contracts

Operation and Maintenance Data. (a) The Contractor shall furnish complete and necessary data for the operation, repair, and maintenance of each operating component of the Work (hereinafter referred to as “the Data”). The Data shall include prints of shop drawings, “as-installed” conditions, sources of equipment and principal materials, specified tests and performance data, repair and maintenance data, lubrication instructions and recommendations, parts lists, and other catalog data or information required to operate and maintain any part of the Work. Care shall be taken to include all pertinent data and to exclude inapplicable or duplicative information.

Care Contractor shall be taken to include all pertinent data and take care to exclude inapplicable or duplicative duplicate information.
