Open Access Option Sample Clauses
Open Access Option. The Distributor undertakes and shall ensure that the Publisher will also undertake to keep the Licensee informed of any alternative business models during the term of this Agreement, including but not limited to business models taking into account both journal subscriptions and Article Processing Charges for Open Access publishing in so-called hybrid journals. Should the Licensee agree to switch to any such alternative business model, the Parties will formalize the new business model by concluding a separate contract or a respective addendum to this Agreement.
Open Access Option. Licensor undertakes to keep Licensee informed of any alternative business models during the Term, including but not limited to models taking into account both journal subscriptions and Article Processing Charges for Open Access publishing in so-called hybrid journals. Should Licensee agree to switch to any such alternative business model, the parties will formalize the new business model in a separate agreement signed by both parties.
Open Access Option. In the event that the Licensor offers an open access option to authors, the Licensor agrees to annually review the number of open access articles published in the Licensed Materials under the open access option. For all Licensed Materials in which such articles are published, the Licensor will share with the Licensee, on an annual basis, the number and citations of articles published under the open access option by authors affiliated with the Members, listed by journal title.

In the event that Licensor offers an open access option to its authors, Licensor will report to Licensee [annually] the number of works (such as articles) published under the open access option by all authors, and the number and list of the works by title with full citation by authors at Licensee’s institution. Licensor will enter into good faith discussions with Licensee concerning mechanisms by which the open access publication fees received by Licensor can offset the fees paid by Licensee and other subscribers of Licensed Materials, with a goal of reducing such fees in proportion to the revenue received through such open access publication fees.

Should NTK agree to switch to any such alternative business model, the parties will formalize the new business model in a separate agreement signed by both parties.

Open Access Option. The Publishers currently offer editors the option of publishing the electronic version of their works on an open access basis. If the Editor wishes to pursue this option at any point during the term of this Agreement, in respect of the whole Work or any individual chapter(s), then the Editor shall notify the Publishers in writing accordingly and, subject to the Publishers confirming their agreement and to the Editor paying the appropriate open access fee as set by the Publishers, the Publishers shall publish the electronic version of the Work on an open access basis. Such publication shall be subject to the Publishers’ then-current terms and conditions for open access books, with the current terms and conditions being available at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/info/open_access.
Open Access Option. At any time during the term of this Agreement Elsevier shall be available to discuss, without obligations, new business models, including new open access models, upon the request of the Subscriber. Should both parties agree to adopt any alternative business model, the parties will formalize the new business model in a separate agreement signed by both parties.
