Online/Internet Warning Clause Samples
An Online/Internet Warning clause serves to notify users or parties about potential risks, limitations, or responsibilities associated with accessing or using online services or internet-based platforms. This clause typically outlines issues such as data security, privacy concerns, or the possibility of service interruptions, and may instruct users to take precautions when sharing information or conducting transactions online. Its core practical function is to inform users of inherent risks and to limit the liability of the service provider by ensuring users are aware of these risks before engaging with the online service.
Online/Internet Warning. If Company or a Distributor sells Covered Products via internet websites to customers located in California, the Warning also must be displayed online prior to the purchase, either on one or on all of the below:
(a) on the same web page on which a Covered Product is displayed and/or described;
(b) on the same page as the price for the Covered Product is displayed; or
(c) on one or more web pages displayed to a purchaser prior to completion of purchase during the checkout process.
Online/Internet Warning. If Blue Chip Group or a Distributor sells the Product via internet websites to customers located in California, the warning requirements of this section shall be satisfied by (1) on-label warning and (2) the Warning also must be displayed online prior to the purchase, either on one or on all of the below:
(a) on the same web page on which the Product is displayed and/or described;
(b) on the same page as the price for the Product is displayed; or
(c) on one or more web pages displayed to a purchaser prior to completion of purchase during the checkout process.
Online/Internet Warning. If Premium Gold Flax Products, Inc. or a Distributor sell(s) Covered Product via internet websites to customers located in California, the warning requirements of this section shall be satisfied by (1) a warning that satisfies the requirements of Health & Safety Code Section 25602 and (2) the Warning also must be displayed online prior to the purchase, either on one or on all of the below:
(a) on the same web page on which a Covered Product is displayed and/or described;
(b) on the same page as the price for the Covered Product is displayed; or
(c) on one or more web pages displayed to a purchaser prior to completion of purchase during the checkout process.
Online/Internet Warning. If Company or a Distributor sell(s) Covered Product via internet websites to customers located in California, the warning requirements of this section shall be satisfied by
(1) on-label warning and (2) the Warning also must be displayed online prior to the purchase, either on one or on all of the below:
(a) on the same web page on which a Covered Product is displayed and/or described;
(b) on the same page as the price for the Covered Product is displayed;
(c) on one or more web pages displayed to a purchaser prior to completion of purchase during the checkout process; or
(d) a clearly marked hyperlink using the word “WARNING,” “CA WARNING,” or “CALIFORNIA WARNING,”on the product display page.
Online/Internet Warning. If Vigo Importing Company or an authorized Vigo Distributor sell(s) Covered Product via internet websites to customers located in California, a warning meets the requirements of this subarticle if it complies with the content requirements of Section 25603 and the warning must also be provided using one or more of the following methods:
(a) a warning on the product display page, or
(b) a clearly marked hyperlink using the word “WARNING” or the words “CA WARNING” or “CALIFORNIA WARNING” on the product display page that links to the warning, or
(c) an otherwise prominently displayed warning provided to the purchaser prior to completing the purchase. If the warning is provided using the short-form warning label content pursuant to Section 25602(a)(4), the warning provided on the website may use the same content. For purposes of this subsection, the warning is not prominently displayed if the purchaser must search for it in the general content of the website.
Online/Internet Warning. If Company or a Distributor sell(s) Covered Product via internet websites to customers located in California, the warning requirements of this section shall be satisfied by (1) having a warning printed on or affixed to the shipping box or any other immediate packaging of a product that is visible to the consumer prior to opening the shipping box or any other immediate packing of a product, and (2) the Warning also must be displayed online prior to the purchase, either on one or on all of the below:
(a) on the same web page on which a Covered Product is displayed and/or described; (b) on the same page as the price for the Covered Product is displayed; or (c) on one or more web pages displayed to a purchaser prior to completion of purchase during the checkout process.
Online/Internet Warning. If The Town Dock or a Distributor sell(s) Covered Product via internet websites to customers located in California, a warning meets the requirements of this subarticle if it complies with the content requirements of Section 25603 and the warning must also be provided using one or more of the following methods:
(a) a warning on the product display page, or
(b) a clearly marked hyperlink using the word “WARNING” or the words “CA WARNING” or “CALIFORNIA WARNING” on the product display page that links to the warning, or
(c) an otherwise prominently displayed warning provided to the purchaser prior to completing the purchase. If the warning is provided using the short-form warning label content pursuant to Section 25602(a)(4), the warning provided on the website may use the same content. For purposes of this subsection, the warning is not prominently displayed if the purchaser must search for it in the general content of the website.

If BBFN sell(s) Covered Product via internet websites to customers located in California, the warning requirements of this section shall be satisfied by (1) on-label warning and (2) the Warning also must be displayed online prior to the purchase, either on one or on all of the below:
(a) on the same web page on which the Products are displayed and/or described;
(b) on the same page as where the price for the Products are displayed; or
(c) on one or more web pages displayed to a purchaser prior to completion of purchase during the checkout process.
