On Board Bus Trainer. The position of “On Board Bus Trainer” will be incorporated into the Transportation Classification of the Agreement and will be compensated at the same level as a bus driver. Work will be on an as needed basis during the school year and summertime. School year hours will usually be between 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Trainer hours worked will be in addition to the assigned bus route. The combined total number of work hours will determine the insurance benefit level as outlined in the Agreement.
On Board Bus Trainer. A. The position of “On Board Bus Trainer” will be incorporated into the Transportation Classification of the Agreement and will be compensated at the same level as a bus driver. Trainer hours worked will be in addition to the assigned bus route. The combined total number of work hours will determine the insurance benefit level as outlined in the Agreement.
B. A minimum of ten (10) hours per week will be assigned to an OBI during weeks containing more than three (3) BCS calendar workdays for drivers. Additional hours may be assigned as needed by the supervisor and will be documented by the OBI with the number of hours worked per day. An OBI cannot go into overtime status unless approved by a supervisor.
▇. ▇▇▇▇ will be charged a full day leave of absence (LOA) whenever they utilize an LOA that includes the time of their scheduled route.
D. A LOA for a portion of a day will be handled in the same manner and OBI hours will be covered (paid) with the LOA as referenced in 6.09 H.
E. Calamity Day and Holiday Pay will include two (2.0) hours per day for OBI responsibilities and also include their current bus driver contracted route time, this cannot be greater than eight (8.0) hours per day.
