Professional Development and Training 4.1 The purpose of professional development and training requirements for interpreters is to maintain the skill levels interpreters possess at the time they pass their interpreter certification examination, and to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Responsibilities of the City The City’s Contract Manager will be responsible for exercising general oversight of the Contractor’s activities in completing the Scope of Work. Specifically, the Contract Manager will represent the City’s interests in resolving day-to-day issues that may arise during the term of this Contract, shall participate regularly in conference calls or meetings for status reporting, shall promptly review any written reports submitted by the Contractor, and shall approve all invoices for payment, as appropriate. The City’s Contract Manager shall give the Contractor timely feedback on the acceptability of progress and task reports.
ACTIVITIES OF THE SUB-ADVISER The services of the Sub-Adviser to the Funds are not to be deemed to be exclusive, the Sub-Adviser and any person controlled by or under common control with the Sub-Adviser (for purposes of this Article IV referred to as "affiliates") being free to render services to others. It is understood that directors, officers, employees and shareholders of the Funds are or may become interested in the Sub-Adviser and its affiliates, as directors, officers, employees and shareholders or otherwise and that directors, officers, employees and shareholders of the Sub-Adviser, INVESCO and their affiliates are or may become interested in the Funds as directors, officers and employees.
